We already have something like that, it's called the Intimidator.

yeah but the park ceo said he wanted to focus on family rides. a roller coaster like STEEL EEL is for the whole family but still very thrilling!!!! :D

The only difference between Steel Eel and Intimidator is that intimidator is taller. They both go up and down, turn around, and do the same thing on the way back to the station. Also, the style of ride that Steel Eel is (meaning a D.H. Morgan Mega/Hyper Coaster) is SO outdated. No one has built one in almost 10 years.

I'm sorry to be so critical of everything you're saying, but none of it makes sense. I know this is a "Wishlist Thread," but there's a fine line between wishful suggestions and ridiculousness.[/quote]
im sorry but i will not stand for this! i have my rights to post whatever i want! your are rude sir!!! :x

Space Spiral is 23 feet taller than Skytower which is 262', however the 80' flagpole makes it 340'. It still want a new water ride to replace log flume. And to make Jay really hate this thread(and me), build me a new "Carolina". It doesnt have to be a ride, a restaurant would be fine.

Sounds like exciting news with a new B&M Wing rider coming to CP next year and a possible 8 orders for new coasters for next year. I do think Carowinds is not getting a coaster next year, but the year after though. Next year I see a new water ride for the water park or something along those lines.

Behind the palladium and into the newly purchased land.

I wasn't saying it like Carowinds is running out of room, more like a speculation of where it could go besides the obvious land we purchased :|

Here is some possible locations depending on the size of the coaster:
1. Just S of and paralleling Thunder Road with the entrance and exit just on the NW side of the Action Theater or the entrance and exit could be on the SE side of the Action Theater where the current theater entrance path is now.
2. Just S and SW of the drop on Top Burn also just to the S and SE of the Action Theater with the entrance either on the E side of the Action Theater or on the current path under the drop of Top Burn that comes out just inside the S Entrance.
3. A smaller family coaster could go just E of Top Burn and track around the E and S south of the picnic area and over Driving School at times and just N of the S Entrance.
4. Another spot for a small to mid sized coaster could be just E of the main entrance and around the Season Pass processing as well as the picnic area possibly working in and thru Intimidator's helix and brake run area. It could also cross over the back over the walkway near the parking lot both.
5. The maintenance area just W of Carolina Cyclone and S of Drop Tower as that area could be moved W near the campground.
6. Another spot would be putting the station where the current Go Kart area is just E of the NE tip of Hurler. It would travel over and near the bus parking lot maybe through the Season Pass lot and maybe over the main road into the field where the pond once was and then back. Great spot for a launched coaster.

That is my thoughts on coaster locations within the current boundaries.

I know you were joking but at the same time if cedar point can build all the rides the have on that little island certainly Carowinds can. I take a trip to cedar point at least three time a summer + ACE events if I can I'm always over joyed to see a forest of rides and coasters traveling thru other coaster it's just so beautiful lol

and where did the 8 coaster rumor come from?

I read about it in the WOF discussion thread on TPR,granted that we now have two coasters confirmed(the woodie for CGA & wingrider for CP) I don't know how much stock I'd put in it unless they plan to install mainly MS spinners in the majority of the other parks.

Instead I don't see either Carowinds or KD getting a new coaster till 2014 at the earliest but would love to be proven wrong.
