^ Yea I could see that... would actually make sense as well... but why are the markers allllll the way out to where the exit road is from the season pass lot? I could see them making that road go to the resort.... turning SP parking into a parking area for the resort.... and where you have the parking lot name... i agree with that. I also agree they would expand out behind thunder road... not sure out the other direction though. Very good concept!!! The possibilities are endless and its always cool to see peoples ideas  I enjoy this time of the season when things start happening at parks and all the speculation begins

Does Cedar Fair operate any hotels outside of the ones in Sandusky and at Knott's Berry Farm? I know this idea has been bandied about a bunch over the years, and I don't doubt that it has been discussed at corporate, but is this market really right for it? Carowinds seems like it is a long way from being a multi-day destination; it's predominately a local draw from what I can tell.

We better get something GOOD in 14 or 15.

My ratings for the last few years

10: Intimidator: Awesome
11: Nothing: Crap
12: Windseeker: Pretty bad
13: Dinosaurs Alive!: Really?

Am I the only one here who likes windseeker. Sure it breaks down every 5 minutes, but it doesn't take up much space and is a great view of the park and the surrounding area.

I think it's a good family ride and it looks sharp. I feel I am in the minority, though.

I stopped by late last night to snag a few rides on Intimidator. Nothing new to report on the construction area that might give some real clues.

I guess this is distracting a bit from the topic, but I like Windseeker as well. The view is a lot better on the Cedar Point one, but I enjoyed the Carowinds one too.

So anyway, back to 2014.

Maybe we could be seeing them move the parking by thunder road over into the field, so that we could get a much needed water park expansion.
