General Carowinds discussion

There is nothing wrong with the Dodgems building. However I would like to see a new sign, and a new fleet of cars. Also, the guessing game in that area needs a facelift. The basketball game next to Rita's should be removed and replaced with a Tilt A Whirl/ or an Eli Bridge Ferris Wheel.

But isn't that what they are doing to wings? Renaming it and including it in Blue Ridge Junction. Although I dont feel like Dodgems will be part of the area.

Just like how the County Fair was advertised as a new area? We would have seen clearing/closed-off parking spots if they were expanding park boundaries.

They aren't expanding the park boundaries, Blue Ridge Junction is being built between Crossroads and Carolina Harbor. The park map shows exactly where this is, as the area has no name. County Fair replaced an existing area of the park, they aren't comparable.

I don't think the Boo Blasters area will be part of Blue Ridge Junction. I can see it becoming part of a new area centered around whatever comes in Dino's spot in a few years though. That just makes the most sense.

Here's what I see as being part of the new Blue Ridge Junction:

It appears the Blue Ridge Junction theme will be a rural theme, not a frontier theme like the previous Blue Ridge Junction (granny did not drive a getaway car in the frontier lol).

That being said, I would think it would gobble up all of Country Crossroads, since that is a rural theme.

Old County Fair has already been combined with Country Crossroads. If they separated it, it would have no theme (which its currently just a jumbled mess of nothing now - pirate ship, some old county fair games and bumper cars). IMO the old County Fair should be a separate area with yet another theme since it was enough space for County Fair before.

With a name like Blue Ridge JUNCTION they better be planning on adding a @*!# steam train back to the park lol.

No but I think Boo Blasters might be. Along with Chic-Fil-A, Carolina Candy Corner and Trendz.

That’s what it used to always be when it was the old clounty fair and should stay divided that way. The bob blasters area dosent fit in with the lower part of crossroads. If Carowinds is keeping crossroads they should add in a really nice entry sign like carousel park coming from the boardwalk and give it some brick pavers too, all it is a big block of tag and nothing else, very hot down there.

I wonder...

That shipment was from May.... Remember that site lists dates as day month year, it was May 5th I do believe... Track will not be here until Oct.

I think that the Blue Ridge Junction area will include boo blasters, yo-yo, pvz, southern star, etc. The bluegrass music has been playing in this area for a couple months now.... Only makes sense to me.... I wouldnt be surprised if afterburn is included, but I doubt it.

On another note there was a concrete truck over at the queue for the flyers, oddly I don't see any concrete poured though, so I am unsure, maybe you just cant see it well on the cam.

Edit: Here is an image of the date of 31-07-2018 to clarify the date thing, no big deal. I dont think there has been a shipment for like a month.... which is kind of strange...
