So I've just been lurking in this thread for a while and not posting anything, but after seeing all of the discussion over what "530" is referencing, I thought I just put this here. Look at the first sentence in the second column. [Credit: Carowinds Early Years]



I from the get-go assumed it meant 53.0 mph, because that was advertised speed of White Lightnin'.

With all of the White Lightnin' references we've seen so far, I think this might just be another connection.

I am 99% sure that 530 is 53.0 mph. Sugar can give you energy, like gas gives cars power.

I also think it’s the max speed, 53 mph is not the end of the world, Twisted Timbers and other mid-sized RMCs or GCIs go about that speed (not to mention similarly sized Mack’s) so as long as it is well paced with some airtime and hangtime we should have a winner, easily top 2 or 3 in the park. The more we try and compare the stats on this thing to Helix then we’re just setting ourselves up for disappointment.

Even then, the number seems way too high.

Averaging 6ft per section, 530 pieces would yield close to 3,200ft in total length. That's not way to high of a number.

530 could also be the horsepower of the hydraulic launch motors, which would count as "sugar". Or a 530ft long coil element (think, a coiled up snake or the coils of a still).

42°C and 2.5 could be launching to 107mph in 2.5 seconds. Intense, but not unreasonable.

They’re usually in excess of 10 feet in length.

42°C and 2.5 could be launching to 107mph in 2.5 seconds. Intense, but not unreasonable.

There’s no way this coaster reaches 107 mph given the footprint.

Maybe 107 combine? Not likely though. I am sticking with around 42mph on the first and in the 50, maybe 60, on the 2nd based on what was leaked. Definitely not 107mph mack's fastest is 62.

I read it somewhere, maybe somewhere here. I really dont know, it could be wrong. But if including the support pieces as well, it's still got to be in the ballpark for total pieces.

Yup, it also really depends on the size of the coaster. Fury has like 25-30ft in between, maybe more.

2.5 seconds to 107 will make it one of the fastest accelerating coasters out there, so ima have to say no on that one

I am 99.9 percent sure the ride will not go 107 mph.the ride will obviously go 530 mph . But really it will probably go 53 mph.
