it could have an unload station, like the City Jet in ocean city,it has an unload station. and it isn't covered,so maybe it will, but i doubt it.

The only thing I can tell by the photos is that there isn't a platform under the brake section. If it were to have an unloading area I would think it would at least have a platform under it so we could walk down it. What they have so far looks to be just in case of emergency.
I hope I'm wrong tho.
Look at the picture of the queue line you can see what I'm talking about.

Since we aren't getting an unload station this year, would it be possible that we might get one next season? or does paramount like to be done with a ride after they first put it up.

I have come to the conclusion that as bad as the Borg *** may seem, It's sure better than Tomb Rader: The Ride at PCW. It's a stupid Zamperla!

Sorry Guys. For their to be an unload station the trains need to be righted before they can be unloaded. As far as we can tell from the pictures there is none of the mechanics needed to lift the seats installed on the brakerun. I'm sure they could be installed later but then it would be necessary for the seats to travel in an upright position to the loading station, which could put unexpected stress on the seats.

Now that I looked again at the earlier queue line photo, I can tell there aren't any of the mechanicals nor a platform, so all my theorizing was wrong. You couldn't really see any of that from the newer station pic as the track in the foreground was blocking it off, so I started to wildly guess :P At any rate we DO have a sunshade over the brakes.

I'm wondering how much the dual station would've actually helped capacity. It certainly doesn't seem to help things much at all on Volcano, especially if they're just running 2 trains it almost seems to slow them down some. It also greatly complicates dealing with loose articles, requiring a "runner" with a cart on Volcano or a storage area between load and unload like on Flight of Fear.

Thinking about SFOG's Superman, which has 3 trains and dual loading / unloading stations - those didn't seem to help much, as the flyer loading procedure takes awhile. Unloading isn't as quick as say an invert, more along the lines of a standup, but it wasn't too long. Loading, checking restraints, and then rotating into the flying position takes much longer than on most coasters, and often hits a snag. Several times on Superman neither loading station was ready to dispatch by the time the train came into the brakes - once we were there for a good 8-10 minutes.

If Borg has similar loading issues, and it probably will based on what I've read about Stealth and from what I saw on Batwing when I rode it, saving 30 seconds on unloading won't be a major factor at all. It'd help a little bit, but would only really help if the 1st train was ready to dispatch about the time the 2nd train was unloaded and ready to move forward - and unless it was a significant benefit it probably isn't worth the cost of the extra equipment and labor, plus it'd be something else to break down.

Yeah max is right well since he started to spill i guess i need to go ahead and tell you guys the whole thing...............From my "sources" (the very same sources of carowinds 73-03) in the park the new attraction next year is going to be Unload Station-the ride and its comming from, yet again, PGA. Their moving another original attraction, the skytower, just to piss some of you guys off. They are gonna tell you they are going to preserve the skytower but then gonna change the story and tell you that due to an "accident" during construction, the tower was damaged beyond repair. So get ready to send those e-mails of how the park is becoming a rats nest to the park!!

Did i forget to mention how people are gonna interpert the due to the fact the park is getting a used unloading station that its gonna be heavily themed since money would be saved. Then once the park start posting construction pics and stop for 2 weeks people are going to complain how the park need to update their website!! Then in the final leg of construction, when the ride is near completion, people are gonna start complaining (yeah big shocker huh!!) about the park didnt give the elaborate themeing that they didnt promise!!

.........imagine that................

The unloading section was where you were finally suppose to be assimulated after the tour of the crash site. It was suppose to involve several strobe/lightning effects and be enclosed. But, due to unforeseen circumstances, they weren't able to add it this year. So...

I think we'll get Boomerang Bay for 2005. It seems like one of the things PP is "standardizing".

I don't think the Borg *** will have an unloading station. The park doesn't have that bad of a capacity problem.

What are you talking about? If it's a joke, at least read what you wrote so it makes sense with all the grammatical errors.
