Did anyone else hear about thunder road being closed until April 10th?

Didn't see anything on the website but it looks like you might be right. Wasn't open today unfortunately. There were guys on the lift hill still working on it. Hurler is up and running though with its nice new wood on the first drop.

I am assuming the wind was the reason the rides were closing. Yo Yo was down before all that happend though, it looked like the arms werent raising when they were working on it, not sure what was wrong though. We got a ride on Vortex before the line got HUGE and luckily we were on Intimidator when they closed it for a while, we had to sit on the brakes for a while because of the wind (they couldnt send the other train out) but after an hr it was goin again, not sure what happened after that because we left around 1:45.

On Saturday, the wind caused Intimidator to stay down, starting around 3pm. Thomas told me that B & M sets the criteria for wind resistance on their mega-coasters, which was exceeded several times prior to 3pm, thus the ride had to close. Got four rides in early, but had guests who wanted to ride other stuff. Got everything GOOD in, though. The park was really busy by mid afternoon and with the tall rides not running, we hit the gates early. Oh well, will come back in a few weeks, hopefully in the 80's and without guests(friends).
