Ok so I know double post again sorry, but I just had to share this story. So as I said today was the first time I have gotten a chance to ride in the front row of Intimidator. Well, the 3rd time I did I got a wonderful surprise going down the third hill. As soon as we strted flying down the hill a hug bug smacked me right in my left eye. How random is that  ? My eye is still sore lol.

It was so nice of you to say that. Thank you! We can still have fun at the movie meet up if you come. I'm a barrel of fun when I'm not working.
I know I was a unique spirit out in the park and was so told by officials, but people can't live off kind words alone. My attitude is this with all employers, "Don't just post my photo up and tell me I'm a star, make me believe that you believe it, in my paycheck."

I can just see you running around in the park with your laptop, tweeting us from every section. How in the world did you get that thing by security anyway? I know the metal detector had to go off, lol. Have you thought of the movie you'd like to see yet?

It's called blackberry lol. I always have it with me because of the skype and facebook access I never know when I will hear from my husband while he is deployed. So I would get on and check CConnection to see if anyone was coming to the park and updating everyone on my day. I could imagine carrying a laptop around  and I could definitely see me doing it. I'm just that dedicated. As far as movies I am not picky. I will go see whatever everyone else wants to. Maybe we can set one up next week sometime because my sis is graduating this weekend and I will be busy. But after Saturday I'm good whenever. Hopefully my little sister will come with me so we can hit up Carowinds again. I am so in love with Intimidator. I could just sit on it all day and marathon ride if they would let me  .

Some guy tried that last year and I think he got sick and left after, something like, 3 rides. I forget what organization he was from. Can you imagine telling everyone and their brother what you were about to attempt and not getting past 5. Geez!

Because you are the guest of honor, and no one knows what you like, you pick the film, day and time. We'll post it in my movie and event blog. Please bring someone with you so it won't look like we're running off to be together for the weekend. Geez! You know how people talk.

Oh wow that had to be embarrassing. I'm sure I could do it more than that, carnival type rides are the only ones that make me sick.

As far as the movie I will look and see what's playing. Weekends are usually better for me because I can find a babysitter. I will see what happens at the end of this week because I may be starting a job so I can support my coaster habit. Then I will post it for everyone to see and I will try to bring someone can't have people talking . Although now I'm singing "Let's give em something to talk about" in my head haha (the one Will Ferral is singing in Step Brothers  ).

Hush girl. You're only throwing more fuel in the flames. I can hear Bananarama singing something in the background.
You're so crazy! I don't mind seeing X-men again if you want to see it. The movie is good. Let's talk about the movie meetup in my Review column because we're off subject over here under All Things Carowinds...

Last summer, I rode the Intemidator so much that the first hill was losing it's affect. I started thinking of skydivers and how they get used to their falls also. The human body is amazingly adaptable to many situations.

Wow I'm so glad I haven't ridden it that much. I don't want it to lose that effect on me. Although at KD I have noticed alot of their rides have lost effect on me. Afterburn in the backseat used to really get me but now it's nothing like it used to be :(. Oh yea and I forgot to put my horrible experience on Thunder Road up here. So when we went on the 1st I talked my friend into riding in the backseat of Thunder Road because that is where you get all the falling out sensation. Well we got on and I tell ya that was the worst ride on TR I have ever had. I was in so much pain when I got off because it shook and bounced horribly. I had scraped my skin because it banged the underside of the seat in front of me. I have never had that experience riding TR in the backseat before. (and I ride the backseat alot especially on wooden coasters) It was bad lol.

If you really want to be shaken and stirred, The Hurler awaits. I have learned to hate that ride. It only the smooth metal coasters for me.

I rode the hurler in the backseat when I was there and TR was 10 times worse. Hurler just bored me because I didn't feel any airtime on it. TR was horrible. I would be happy to not ride that one again lol.

Sorry to burst in on a conversation but i had to mention the whole immune to the rides thing...

I have been going to the park since i was little and after numerous years of afterburn and hurler, It totally lost its thrill.

The intimidator is the one thing (maybe not the only thing) that hasn't lost it's adrenaline rush effect. I hope i never get used to it!XD

But if it does happen, I can then challenge people to a ride off marathon!(:

I know exactly how you feel and that's why intimidator is usually where you will find me. Hey I would take your challenge to a ride marathon :D lol.

Trust me, it'll happen on even Intimidator in time. My ride count is well past a hundred and now I don't really get that thrill that I got last year, the most "thrill" I get now is the airtime coming off the lift if your in the back seat. other than that, it's just a relaxing way to cool off now, haha. I'd Totally take you on in a marathon. I have no weakness when it comes to that thing. At coasterstock last year, I stayed on the entire hour and a half, and only missed one train, just because I waited for like 2 minutes to get a front row ride. I think I had almost 40 rides in less than 2 hours. haha, the last few, I just closed my eyes and about fell asleep.

You are so right! After a while, and it can happen in one summer, the thrill - that fall in the gut feeling, just stops happening. I guess I'm ready to jump from planes now, but after a while, I won't feel that first thrilling rush either. In the boredom is when people get creative and learn to manipulate the fall and start flying, diving, etc. If I were to marathon Intimidator I can see myself falling asleep also. We humans are so adaptable it's surprising.

I do wish Afterburn was a lot longer. Now that isn't only a ride, it's an adventure. I choose that one for my marathon. But even on that ride, after a while...
A ride is but a ride is but a ride.

I would probably bring a book and read if we did an afterburn ride marathon.
And a water bottle, Ya know what? I'll just bring a cooler with snacks and drinks so i never have to get off except for bathroom breaks. Darn squirrel bladder....
Nah i probably would fail at the ride marathon. I get migraines easily so....Probably not the best idea. :)
