What was that like? I went to Scarowinds for the first time in 2010, so it obviously was not there when I was there.

Yeah, to me, it sounds better then fury, but I wouldn't know since I've never been through any other maze other then my own. But I've heard from almost everyone that Fury wasn't that great of a maze

Fury was a good maze, it was just that it was hyped up to be something incredible. It isn't the park's signature mazes like the hype was leading everyone to believe it would be.

I think fury had a GREAT story line but the park didnt do that good with actors or scenes in it.i Hope they really change that this year

Let the Maze start at the smokey light up tunnel in furry then add about 10 more actors and a couple more jump out scares and there you have it, a decent maze

According to Screamscape, surveyors were seen measuring pathways and other stuff in kiddie land. I think it's very likely that the new 1 acre attraction will be constructed here. I mean, if the rumors of it being both an indoor and outdoor maze are true, then this the perfect place to put said maze!

I'm currently in the parking lot on the way home from carowinds... I have taken pictures of the survey markers. To be honest, there are only two markers, so i think it will be a small ride as opposed to a maze.

Well guys, I just got home from Carowinds and you'll be pleased to know that me and my brother have discovered where the new maze will be located and a pretty good hint as to what the theme of the new maze will be! While walking near Crabby Cabby and Joe cools driving school, me and my brother discovered a multitude of white/orange marking dots and measurements spray painted on the asphalt. To top it off, at the entrance of Joe Cook's Driving School, if you look just over the railing you'll see in large blue letters "FLAT" along with a series of measurements. As far as the theme of this maze goes, while riding Butler, I noticed something very interesting, a large tanker truck that had " Area 51 Motor Pool"written on the side. Could this mean the resurrection of an Alien Annihilation type maze? I sure think so!

Sorry guys, there's a few typos in the post above. The words "FLAT" are at the exit, not the entrance. Also I saw the truck while riding Hurler, there has never been a ride called "Butler" at Carowinds. Don't ya' just love auto correct sometimes?

Alien Annihilation was my first scarowinds maze and I had liked it, and from what I remember it was pretty long. So the maze starts in the back of Planet Snoopy and goes threw Joe cools? And a truck was already placed? It would be cool though if it was a new version! I also personally hope they also add a fourth scare zone.
-Did anyone else see the picture that Carowinds posted around two weeks ago on Facebook. It was a sketch of a maze, but I couldn't tell which it was. It could be hinting at the new one. It looks like pipes and a sewyer.
