In one of the interviews with Bart at one of the events, he stated then that they were planning on working on Hurler when Thunder Road was completed.

So it's really been on their radar for probably 5 or 6 years.

I've gotten just one ride so far but it was far better than last year.

The first turn that they replaced seems a tiny bit wider, and the trims are gone.

So while the air wasn't like it was in days of old, it was certainly better than last year where there was none at all.

The last turn is still rough, but that will get fixed I'm sure in the next few years.
