General Carowinds discussion

Well, our Taxi Jam is different than PKD's, Thunder Road is bigger and more thrilling than Rebel Yell is. Shockwave is a headbanger too.

Commenting on RollerNut's post....

Well...PKD essentially got the HXLC prototype so they really bought it as is. So, there's a reason for it being short. If the park wanted to add more to it, I'm sure they would have.

As for Volcano, its really a fun coaster so I don't care how long it is. In fact, *shock* *oh the horror* *commit him now*, I'd rather ride Volcano than I would Top Gun. I don't see how you call the launches on Volcano and HXLC boring. The launch on Volcano is more exciting than anything at Carowinds. Front seat on Volcano at night, blasting out of the top of the mountain towards the night sky, seeing the stars looming above you...its what being a coaster rider is all about. (HXLC's launch is pretty up there too.)

Seeing how the Ricochets are different, I don't see how you can compare them. Rebel Yell and TR are *essentially* the same coaster.

Are we talking about the same park?

I know that I am leaving this open for debate but since it is all personal opinions I'll share mine.

PKI - Best Woodies
PKD - Best Feel
PC - Best Fun

Yes, I found it to be smooth but borning. The part where it flys out of the mountain is fun but after that, it is down right borning.
