Thanks for doing that, I was under the impression that I couldn't direct link until I paid 'em, but apparently it does work.

Bruh -

I have a Nikon D70 6 Megapixel digital SLR with 18-35, 28-105, and 75-300 mm Nikkor lenses. Since the D70's sensor is smaller than a 35mm film frame, it effectively adds a 1.5X crop factor to the lenses, so that 75-300 is almost like a 450mm at the long end. Add in a bit of Photoshop cropping and you can get in nice and tight

That Scooby pic was actually taken with my 28-105mm I think, and showed the whole train and a good bit of the coaster. I liked the expression on the kid's face and the others with their hands up, so cropped it in Photoshop. That's one big plus with the 6MP - you can crop and still have enough pixels to have a good pic.

It's a great setup that takes some good pics, the only downside is the big bag o' stuff I have to carry around with it for the lenses, flash, etc. That can be a bit of a pain to lug around the park, which is why I was slack about taking pics last year. I have quite a few more from the previous couple of years with the same lenses and a 35mm Nikon N80 that I need to get scanned sometime.

No prob Ken, you probably got confused as to what pbase defines as "direct linking."

Non-supporters (or not as of yet supporters ) can link directy to the page it's on, but they can't directly link to the pic and <a href='http://www.pbase.com/jamminj/image/27146538/small.jpg' target='_blank'>nothing else</a>. Or directly link from pbase to another site, kind of like this:
