:o :o Oh yea! THE KID was incredible! He was definitely the most impressive performance of the day. Ten years old and fearless that's for sure! My next T-Shirt: I Wanna Fly Like "THE KID"

The takeover was awesome. I think Lisa shot some footage. Chicken and I are suppose to get together and work on a vid on Friday.

We didn't get to meet CoasterMom but there were several "mom" looking ladies at the flyers. There were some other's that, while not "mom" like, certainly caught my attention. ;)

I didn't make the "Stalker" picture either.... :( and YES Chicken, you looked that sick. The combination of Cough medicine, IHOP and Dramamine allowed you to exist in an alternate reality all day. After leaving the park and munching down on Wild Wings, we had a quiet ride home in the car with everyone out like a light.

I don't know why, but I was the only one filming when "The Kid" made his famous snapathon.

I'll try and remember to post a link when I upload it.

It's funny to watch it at home on the TV now in all it's glory and hear my goofy self going "Man!!!" and "Wow!!!"

That was one of those moments you'll never forget.

Sadly I didn't make the stalker pic either. :(

For the record and for those wondering what i'm talking about.... I've been sick for 2 weeks or so with some kind of cold flu thing. Went to the doctor Friday, and she diagnosed me with Bronchitis and gave me some medicine. So Saturday morning i was on the following:

Tussionex Pennkinetic - Cough Suppressent
Zithromax - Antibiotic (double dose on saturday)
Dramamene - Motion Sickness Prevention
and about a 2 week lack of sleep

I really didn't feel much of anything on the rides. And was very drowsy all day. I did have fun though, and learned to 'snap' pretty well myself. Yes, The Lisa got some footage of all of us on the ride, but everyone's moving so fast so it's hard to see anyone in particular. Soon enough, an official whootah.com video will be posted for all to enjoy!

Awesome clip of Dave doing the wave, that was hillarious, and yes I remember 'The Kid' as well, he was a big yellow blur... and i was the one wearing the 'whootah' shirt Saturday

That's why some of us have pics on our profiles :)

I'm so glad to see that the Flyers have gone over so well. Even in the pouring rain on Wednesday, they ran very well. I want to say that they gave the Knoebels Flyers a run for their money. Now, I'd love to see somebody do a 360 like I've seen people do at PPP. I think the people in line would flip if that ever happened!

Give me 2 weeks... ;)

I think i remember seeing "the kid". Did he have a white t on and look like he was being controlled by the flyers, but actually tearing them up?

Hey coastercrazy, is that the kid we were talking about lol?

Yes that kid was farkin' amazing! I was laughing sooo hard, I'm pretty sure we're all talking about the same kid. You and I were near the front of the line and the rest of the guys were back at the end.... right? That kid is my idol... most definitely. Can't wait for Saturday to get my 3rd day of Flyer Action.... must... pull... 360.... I got close a few times when I turned around backwards but never all the way around.

I doubt you talked with him in line for a while, since he was about 8 years old.

I was asking him has he ever done this before and telling him ho good he was. Never got his name though. :(

All I know is that he was the son of a coaster enthusiast (his dad was hanging around some other guys early in the morning), had blonde hair, and I'm pretty sure he was too young to be talking much. He had this oblivious look on his face the whole time he was owning the flyers, was quite funny.

I went down there again today and boy was the gp lame. On opening day the things were rattling all over the place but today they were just boring! Plus, the line was full so it made the line seem even longer without anything to watch.
I saw Jonathan and Costermom there too and you left kinda quick costermom. You were snapping it awesome though.
