This is the third time you have seriously 'pump faked' me. With the plantation house, the ticket booths, and the toll plaza, you posted some early pictures and I thought, 'Oh no... this is starting to look cheap and blah.' Well, apparently I know zilch about modeling because how you got the buildings from the early pictures you posted to the final pictures you posted is a true work of art man. I never in a million years thought that this...

would turn into this...

It looks outstanding! Great job. I can tell you have been working really hard on this, and that must be especially hard combined with college work. I can't wait to see it in person at Carowinds!!!

Great job Amos! And thanks for the picture. I'm glad that I'll be able to see this masterpiece in just under 2 weeks! So if I'm correct, then all that's left is the gift shop, bathroom, and base.

I, for one, do NOT wanna see roller model anything!

And famousamos...Less post and videos and more model work! you have 8 days...

Totally AWESOME! Since it's made of paper, have you given thought to how you're going to try and preserve it? I know it's designed to be inside and whatnot. I wonder about changes in humidity, temperature, etc. I wonder if there's something you can spray on it that would help that?

It will be inside of a glass case. The paint will protect the model and all of the landscaping is paper mache. The model should be just fine in the heat and humidity. It will be going in the Harmony Hall Foyer, so there really shouldn't be any problems.
