I dont see a crane though. Are they using black magic?

A crane is there hiding behind the trees. You can see the crane from the highway, but not standing on the hill that separates the parking lot from the entry road where I stood to take the shots.

For me it's going to be weird next season with what's going to be an open plot of land in the thrill zone area, where sky coaster is until I see footers and supports erected the following year.

And you're right sir however the perspective of where I was hid the crane behind the trees plus the arm wasn't at it's highest point it was lowered pointed towards the wooded area.

I would love to be a worker on that project. Go up there, unbolt some bolts, watch the crane lift the pieces, and enjoy a view of Carowinds without dropping.

I wish Carowinds would by Perilous Plunge from KBF. The park is lacking in water rides right now and this ride is HUGE!

I know it is basically a giant White Water Falls. So? Add some animatronics to the top to show a difference.

With a rapids and a chut-the-chutes I dont feel carowinds is lacking water rides...especially with a full water park with two wave pools right inside its gates. Not to mention the two new water slides coming next year. If anything carowinds is lacking its trees!

Perilous Plunge is probably somone's washing machine or car at this point. It was TORN down and sent off to the recycler.

It will be interesting to swing out over the water like that, assuming Carowinds keeps the water, something they haven't been doing a very good job of recently.

I just dont see how it will fit there, will they remove that building thats in front of that area? It would be cool to swing over water, I think Kennywood's sky flyer swing ride was over water...

I guess if this holds true will will be able to see something via the webcam... not very well but we should be able to see at least something...
