^whats the rush? Are the footers even fully cured?

Ride wild eagle...you'll change your mind...

I feel the need to share this. I was walking to my car after visiting the park tonight and overheard some guy telling his friends about the "new coasters". He told them that Carowinds is building a coaster over 300+ feet called Fury 325 next year which is partially true, but he added that they were adding a "launched wing coaster" in 2016. Does Carowinds even have money for this? I was kind of chuckling but pondering at the same time. This doesn't seem possible, but I would love it to happen nonetheless. This guy knew what he was talking about too as he mentioned B&M would be manufacturing both. On a side note he said Carowinds will also receive a flat ride next year. I don't think this is all true but its interesting nevertheless. Any thoughts on this?

Once again, I'm not saying its going to happen. I'm saying its an interesting thought.

The Centurion trademark is still suspended. It will not be named Centurion.

I was just looking at that on the trademark website and wondering what that meant as far as being able to use it. Thanks for clarifying it for me. Being that's the case, do you think they trademarked both Fury and Fury325 on the chance Fury receives the same treatment?

Also, trademark applications aren't free. I believe they cost a couple hundred dollars and require coordination with legal to get submitted. So it's unlikely Cedar Fair would waste money filing official documents with the government just to "throw everyone off". Cedar Fair likely had or still has intent to use the mark, but it just not might happen at Carowinds.

Thank you, I was just about to say this. Cedar Fair wouldn't waste money to throw us select few enthusiasts off.

This might have already been speculated, but...

Judging by the style of the new paint being tested on Mantis, and the rumor it's getting a new name + floorless trains, my best guess is it will be renamed Fury and the Carowinds giga will be Fury 325. They both seem to be insect inspired.
