I've been enjoying the test runs over the past couple days. It's hard to tell from the webcam but it appears to be HAULING A** through the course. I feel dumb getting excited over such an old relocated Vekoma (especially after having ridden the far superior Deja Vu) but part of me can't wait to ride the Cobra. Hopefully hints about the log flume area coaster will start to leak soon from the people who saw the plans....
I agree, Jason. I thought it was just me, or the disorienting refresh rate on the webcam, but it does seem to be faster than usual for a boomerang. Will find out this weekend, at any rate.
Can anyone confirm if the Cobra is indeed running faster than most other boomerangs? I can't make it to the park until next week but it looks like it's pulling some serious g's.
