Just in case you haven't been watching, they just moved camera 2 so we can now see the new bridge.

You will also note that there is now a crane on site for the bridge over Fury 325.

^^They could be foundations for a small stall of some sort. Like an information Kiosk or a park directory or something of that nature.

I was thinking maybe flagpoles.

^^could be. But the old 8 flags are supposed to go in their original positions along the edge of the path there.

Kinda doubt flag poles but I ain't going to rule it out. The fact that they were pour separately implies (to me) that the thickness of concrete is different from the surrounding area. There again, maybe if the flag poles are grouped together(4 on each side) they could share these two footings. Maybe Carowinds is adding a surprise we don't know about yet.

This is why I think that the flag poles will be returning (close) to their original spots:

From Mike's Twitter:
"Here is a close up of the #Fury325 ride bridge. This is going to be an awesome element!"

There's definitely a lot of space between the track and bridge, but boy, it will look like it's really close!

Those new square "footers" or whatever they are look to be right about where the word "FENCE" is on that image (the one near the top). But there's nothing on the image to indicate something is going there. It may be for a big planter on each side or some sort of signage.

Those are footings for the new record breaking flat ride going in in 2017. They're putting them in now while they're already doing work in the area.

Let me guess, Huss Giant Frisbee over the bridge loading via an invisible platform.....

Don't be ridiculous. It's the footings for a Huss Jump 2. Opps, Not supposed to say that...

I'd be in heaven and would never leave Carowinds if we got a giant frisbee of any manufacturer and a jump 2. I was fortunate to ride the sledge hammer at Canada's Wonderland and enjoyed every bit of it!! Pryor to the "basic" cycle they run now.
