I dare say the Fireworks outside of Carowinds are the problem, we hear this every year but it doesn't take this long on a normal Saturday.

Carowinds has always had heavy traffic on the 4th. Back in 2011 my family went and got our truck plowed into by an impatient driver who just wasn't going to wait in the long line of cars. Ended up staying in the parking lot until 12:30 while the police arrested the girl who hit us. Turns out she had been driving under the influence. Thankfully no one was hurt and my dad's truck got repaired soon after. Pretty funny now that I look back on it.

I suggest anyone that was complaining about the traffic leaving the park never go to a college football game... 80,000+ people leaving at one time. Carowinds looked to be a cakewalk last night.

I saw the recent pictures of the Carowinds food truck. Does anyone know where they will use this? Inside the park? At area events for promotions? Food Truck Friday?

Not sure if these are new or just left over from when the Fury track was sitting here.

I doubt it's anything significant, just wanted to see if these are new or not.

^Across the drop-off lot where the track was sitting before being installed last year. I really have no idea what could possibly go there. Parking lot expansion maybe?

Here's another stake that was there.

Will possibly be coming to the park from Ohio for the first time tomorrow! What should I expect the lines be tomorrow with it being 95 degrees outside? Will there still be crowds from July 4th? I'm planning to ride Fury at least 10 times lol. Fastlane needed?
