Well, in mean time, I'm going to revert back to my original hatred of Cedar Fair since Thunder Road having a worthy successor seems unlikely at this point.

How is CP overrated? Because you can't fit on the coasters is not the correct answer.

And now that Mav has better restraints and Rougarou sits down, they only really have one really bad coaster left. Sadly there are no plans to do anything to mean streak for now (and at least a few years before they consider it). The RMC pic the park accidentally on purpose showed was just a joke.

Tarheel, I would like to remind you (as well as a few others) that Carowinds could be a LOT worse off than it is now had it not been for Cedar Fair. (Not that the park is bad anyway). Cedar Fair has dumped nearly one hundred million dollars into our park but all you need is the removal of one ride to make you hate them? Get over yourself, dude.

2) Mantis = Rougher, more painful Vortex
3) Mean Streak = 10 times worse than Hurler
4) Iron Dragon = Dragging Iron
5) Raptor = Not a fan
6) Dragster = One trick pony
7) Gemini = Don't remember this one
Wicked Twister = Scary awesome
9) disaster transport = Interesting Different
10) Corkscrew = Nothing speculator but enjoyable
11) Cedar Creek Mine Ride = makes Goldrusher look big
12) Blue Streak = My personal favorite of CP
13) Wildcat = Wow
14) Magnum XL-200 = Second favorite
15) Woodstock Express = Better than Reptar

The flat rides was where it was but the coasters seemed mediocre for most of them. A few were good but I wasn't impressed, I believe I was expecting too much.

Oh and by the way, I was 160 pounds back then. So yes I did fit in everything.

The one downside being on the Cedar Fair Hate Train is that you're stuck in the same boat as Roller.

I am in the "neutral boat" when it comes to Cedar Fair. I am very upset about Thunder Road, but look at what Cedar Fair has done for us! We just got the worlds tallest and fastest giga coaster for goodness sake!

I guess I'm an idiot for thinking Carowinds has no theme, because Cedar Fair has actually transformed it into a perfect representation of Charlotte! I really like this description of the city from the off topic thread:

I've been intrigued on if Thunder Road was going to actually going to come down or not but my suspicion of its demise has pretty much been confirmed...... I've been waiting for this link to be clickable since 5/18. Listed as "Carowinds New Project"
