Guys! Stop freaking out about the pond! Just as with Windseeker, they will likely fill in only a portion for the Skyflyer and then put water back in! They have to drain the whole thing though. Trust me, the first drop on Nighthawk will still be over water next season.

I don't see why they are filling in one of the only good natural areas in the park to move some rusting piece of scrap metal that no one even rides!

yeah for some reason people forget that the water the sternwheeler used wasnt very deep and it actually traveled on rails. the whole water way was man made

I think a footer has been put in place for the Skyflyer. Either that or I'm just seeing things:

There is no way its going to be that far "up." The swinging motion would be in the way of Windseeker.

I think the webcam gives the illusion of a very small space but its actually a decent size space at the park. I dunno, it does seem close to windseeker.

I have a feeling they wouldn't send you flying towards windseeker...flip it around.

I dont know how they are going to do it, but I tell you it was very difficult trying to fit this thing in that area going by the satelite map.

^I'm hoping the park will install a skyride soon though. A skyride is always a great way to see a park.

You're quite a few years late the skyride has come and gone along with the monorail. You probably wasnt born yet when it ran. Honestly we are going to have to except the fact the carowinds is no longer a "theme" park but infact an amusement park which so very generic. Just come and ride and leave lol.
