If, and I say IF...
The plantation house were demolished (or even relocated in order to preserve Carowinds' History), I can see a Kings Dominion like International midway or something of the like. There would be a fountain down the center, the architecture would be of the old southern style like the plantation house, and there would be several shops. It would be nice if the plantation house were to be placed along the midway and transformed into a museum (to also include scale models of the ride or the entire park (which I once thought about doing)).
All in all, I expect great things to happen in the next few years...

That is a good thought, but I can remedy that...
That dirt came from the new drainage basins on the drive up, am I wrong? Those basins will only be filled with water when it rains, but for all we know, they could be turning those into man made lakes.
Now about that bridge. If you're talking about the first bridge that you cross after passing the fountain, then no. The maintenance road passes underneath and the Carowinds maintenance crew needs that road. So no, I don't think that the dirt will go there. Unless you are talking about another bridge that I haven't seen (I haven't been to the Planet Snoopy Area)

The dirt *may* be used for the new coaster, but I don't know for sure.
Or, the dirt may just remain there and grass will be grown on it.

I consulted my crystal ball and It said this...

although getting new coasters is really great,
there seems to be a trend of give and take.
When it was announced the worlds first, original flying coaster was coming, you didn't have much time to gloat.
Because in the instant you realized, you were losing the boat.
Then intimidator came speeding in, in 2010...you heard the teaser zoom.
But what a cost to pay the boss, you lost the decent log flume
Now something new is coming above and below
A lot of you are guessing, only a few of you know
