I thought it was over and I305 won but I was looking over on KDfansite and someone posted the link to the site and said they were nervous. Carowinds was in the lead not Kings Dominion.

When did he post that, because those numbers were higher than when I looked at it around 11:00ish, maybe we came back at the end

How can anybody say I-305 is better when nobody has ridden the latest redone version of it yet? That's my question.

This was the 2010 version being voted on. Does that mean i305 gets to be in the running in 2011 again?

Unfortunately we had an issue at work and I got called back in from 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM. I tried to vote a few times but it wouldn't let me. The last I saw around midnight was that it looked like i305 had it. It was great to see so many i232 fans supporting it.

I hope you are all having a great night!

Regardless of who wins (after all, us fans of Intimidator at Carowinds know which is the best coaster ) I want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who voted.

As you know, I'm still relatively new to the coaster world-but I was blown away by the support, kind words, and rallying by everyone until the very end. Even now reading the comments on Facebook, Twitter and here on Carowinds Connection I am overwhelmed by everyone's support. Never before have I seen so many people working towards a common goal. Our fans are a force to be reckoned with!

I am so proud to work for Carowinds and to get the opportunity to interact with you, our true Carowinds fans, each and every day.

I"m looking forward to another exciting season-how 'bout you?

Well it would be awesome if ours did win. I absolutely love our Intimidator, granted I can't say anything bad about KD's because I didn't get a chance to ride it. I think it's good for Carowinds to finally get some notice though .

Though I personally haven't taken a ride on 305, I have to say I agree with the author. The bells and whistles (lots of tiny drops and sharp curves) of 305 don't seem to compare to the originality of our Intimidator. That probably doesn't make sense, but our Intimidator is just an enjoyable coaster, it sort of has an all-American feel to it.
