Well if that happens for me at least I have CP to look forward to. All new rides for me :D . That's how the rides at KD are for me though. I have actually fallen asleep on a couple of them  . Until I am jerked awake that is (Anaconda).

I don't think I could fall asleep on 305 at KD!

Thanks for the tip. I haven't come across those coasters yet but now I will keep my eyes open for them. There's no need to think I'll have a smooth ride on every metal coaster now, only a hope that I will. Thanks man.

Pcat you must have never visited KD. Anaconda and shockwave are horrible. I don't even ride shockwave anymore because it gives me horrible headaches from banging my head, and Anaconda you have to hold your head tight to keep from slamming into the shoulder restraint.

jsz, I have yet to ride 305 because I was too scared of a heart attack haha. Although I bet then I would fall asleep  . I'm gonna try that when I go back and it's not so hot out because my heart bothers me in extreme heat. When I went on the 1st to Carowinds I was fine all day until we sat down to lunch and I could feel my heart beating funny, but once I got up and moving I was fine. It was just the extreme heat that day though. I was completely fine after the waterpark.

305 is non-stop intensity...the only way i could fall asleep would be unintentionally from a black out! LOL

I've been on Anaconda and loved it! Perhaps I'm miscommunicating what I'm trying to say.
While metal coasters can be rough and jerky, I've yet to experience one that makes riders' whole bodies tremble, shake, and vibrate through and through. Carolina Cyclone does give temporary headaches to many people, but it doesn't make give them that milkshake sensation while riding like The Hurler - as most wooden coasters do. I've yet to experience that vibrat'em, shak'em-up sensation on a metal coaster, and if they are out there, I'll pass!

I loved Anaconda when I rode it as well. Mind you the last time was in...1999....lol. I hope to get back to KD next year.

Pcat...Have you not ridden Flying Ace Aerial Chase (Reptar)? That would have to be the most uncomfortable type of coaster I've ever ridden. Nothing but headbanging and headaches after ridding that contraption. Of course I'm sure the manufacturer has nothing to do with it....lol (I actually like Nighthawk...go figure...lol) I really need to branch out and ride some coasters outside the southeast.

What cwgator?
Rough rides on the kiddy coaster, head banging, headaches... You must not be holding your mouth right.

There is one ride in Snoopy Ville that plays with my head, that balloon ride. I feel like I'm flying while on and after, and that's not in a good way - no matter how I hold I mouth. That ride makes me sick! Why is it that I can ride Woodstock's Gliders multiple times without a problem, but one ride on Balloon Race and I'm ready for the nut house?

Ahh I got what your saying about rough rides now. I was thinking just rough as in head banging and shaking and jerking in general. The ones where you can't back to back ride because it hurts to lol.

Yes!
In other words, I don't like to feel like I've been sitting on a paint mixer for the length of the ride.
Wooden coasters are very well known for that.

That was a branch off of what you said about it sounding like fun. I hate to be shaken and stirred like that.
Maybe James Bond likes it. I don't.
