2020: Brand new racer slide from ProSlides, my vote is for a Kraken or Rally racer. The addition of sprinklers for the walking paths, improvements to Myrtle Turtle Beach and a new slide for Kitty Hawk Cove. General park improvements in preparation for the 50th anniversary. As well as an announcement that Nighthawk will be removed after SCarowinds.

2021: Improvements to the parking lot and traffic flow. Rebuild and expand the South gate, revamp of Crossroads area, Forbidden Frontier style attraction where Dino’s Alive stood. General park improvements in preparation for the 50th anniversary. As well as an announcement that Vortex will be removed at the end of the season.

2022: Antique cars on site of RRR with a new path leading to Thrill Zone. The removal and replacement of Snoopy’s Junction with a better layout and theming. New flat ride in the Carnival area. General park improvements in preparation for the 50th anniversary. Announcement that Gold Rusher will be closed at the end of the season for a full refurbishment.

2023: A yearlong 50th Anniversary celebration that kicks off on March 23rd with the reopening of Gold Rusher, and announcement of a record-breaking dueling wooden/hybrid launch coaster where Vortex/Nighthawk stood.

2024: Expansion of on-site hotel, general park improvements, closure of Plants vs. Zombies and clearing of the other areas in this section of the park for future expansion of this area.

I really don’t see Vortex going anywhere anytime soon. There have been three floorless conversions of standups now, two of which being Cedar Fair coasters, and if they can salvage the ride and market it as a new experience, they will.

2021.

I don’t see Nighthawk going soon either. Premier did a full refurbishment on those trains when they came here from CGA. It’s not as much maintenance as the others and it’s a centerpiece.

I would love to see a refurbished goldrush with new trains and maybe a retracking. It would make everything so much more enjoyable.
