My assumtion is that the $1.5 mil more has something to do with the LED lights

"To complement the recently added Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular, WindSeeker will be built with an elaborate LED lighting system. Aside from the LED spotlights that will be located at the top and bottom of the tower, the carriage of the ride will be equipped with LED light strands that will run out from the tower and down each of the ride’s steel arms. At night, as the ride ascends to the top of the tower, the light display will come to life with a kaleidoscope of colorful patterns and shapes. In addition, WindSeeker will be equipped with speakers located on the ride’s carriage. This on-ride audio can play up to eighteen different music tracks."

I dont know if this is the same lights on the others or if something has been added?

Yea I do agree with that to Jonathan with that modification they had to make, I think at knotts, maybe that is why the cost jumped, as well as the lights, but I think the lights were included on all of the exactly the same, I dont know..

Maybe the extra cost is for filling the lake...which brings me to my point. The park is constantly losing its enviroment. I know over the years its been gradual but im tired of seeing the lake filled (even with borgass) and the foliage cut back to nothing. I mean im no expert but isnt it other areas where enviromentally the ride could have been place with not much impact...

It sounded like it's going to be where I took those pictures of work going on around the entrance (and control center) for Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular. You get lucky every now and then.

The media event was nice and they did it up well. I'll post more pictures as well as a write up later.

Has anyone else noticed that afterburn is in NONE of the animation? Im going to guess that this means that they are not yet ready to even hint what it's new colors are going to be.

Oh no, they are taking out Afterburn...ah. It wasn't in Intimidator animations either. It doesn't mean anything.

I also noticed the audio system was an on-board audio system. If I remember right the audio systems in the other Windseekers were at the station only. Correct me if I am wrong.

Watch this and it will tell you all the park is doing for 2012. Including a new patio area around the new WS. Maybe that is included into the total cost. I dont know.
