Is there a hint buried in what you just said? And like I said in a different thread, I really hope ride-wise they turn Carowinds into Knott's East and really turn Carowinds into a family park.

yes...figure it out.

Why would you NOT blame cedar fair? The article explicitly states CEDAR FAIR said THEY under invested in carowinds...Everything isn't paramount's fault  .

The article says that but since they took over, aside from Cedar Point, we all have basically gotten the same things: relocated ride, Snoopy Star, Dino Alive, hyper, water park upgrade and Windseeker. With all of those things being fairly equal Carowinds was still behind because we started with a deficit. Fury has been the giant leap forward for the park. Intimidator did not add much advantage because many of the other parks were given the same thing.

I must say The boss man is one of the most humble GMs I've known I just ran into him picking up trash along the midways and interacting with guest. As much I've been going to the park under Bart I've never seen him in the park let alone on a weekend at 8pm.

I have.

Sure, Bart may not have left a lasting legacy (mainly tarnished from sins of the father) but to be fair, he too picked up trash and worked late weekends.

I only saw Mike on opening day, but i've talked to a few other people in the parks management. I met most of them during Taste of the Carolinas.

Can anyone explain the purpose of the drop off area if they're just going to use the bus lot for drop offs? That could been money used for some place else in my opinion.

Also I over heard (take it with a grain of salt) that the rest of the major coaster will be going to lockers soon. Don't if it's 2016 tho maybe later.

Hmmm. Probably means nothing, but what if the Earnhardt licensing agreement was only for six years? Maybe it isn't being renewed and the ride will end up renamed for next year. More likely just an excess amount of Intimidator gear in stock or something though.

Maybe they just haven't been selling much Intimidator merch (which makes sense because people would buy Fury stuff this year) and they have a lot more than they need so they're trying to get rid of it?
