I hope they reserve the White Lightnin' name/theme (with white supports and gold track, preferably) for a launch coaster so it will have the "Lightnin' strikes now!" announcement at the beginning.

In my dream world, White Lightnin' is the world's first lauched B&M flying coaster, in the same spot where Nighthawk sits now - featuring a dive toward the water, a splash down, a pretzel loop going over the midway with a tunnel at bottom so that track flies above and below you when you walk down the path to Windseeker.... but I don't wanna get too ahead of myself. :)

Just thinking out loud here about the possibility of Intimidator being renamed. Thunder Road was themed after a movie about moonshine running, the subculture that led to the creation of NASCAR. Intimidator is named for a NASCAR legend. White Lightening is another name for moonshine.

Hmmm...

Has anyone figured out how the Wright Brothers reference was relevant? Maybe it has to do with a new name/theme for Intimidator. However it makes a lot more sense to me for it to stay race themed.

I'm not even trying to figure anything out anymore. After all the Wright Brothers teasers for what turned out to be the generic Windseeker, the White Lightning fake leak for Intimidator, and the Centurion stuff, I don't expect any "teaser" they do to have anything to do with the final product.

^^Given this is Carowinds, I will truly be shocked if the Wright Brothers have any connection to what is in store for 2016. For some reason the park always loves to throw random junk at us during teasing. (Centurion/Roman Banners during Fury's teasing, Wright Brother's teasing for Windseeker, White Lightning “leak” during Intimidator's teasing.)

EDIT: Nevermind, Jonathan took the words right out of my mouth.

This is just a small fix, but I'd love to see the NC/SC flags crossed at the state line marker:

I am still wondering why people have not learned to take any teaser from the park with a grain of salt. The PR team does this for a reason. I sometimes feel like some of you are a little too naive when it comes to this stuff.

Example: What did Rome have to do with Fury 325? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Well at the time we thought that Fury 325 was going to be Centurion, so the Roman theming was kinda fitting.

I figured it all out inthe big splash thread...

Actually, it did. They akin fury 325 as a wonder of the world and with the transformation of the park, the phrase "rome wasn't built in a day" is clearly a suitable summary of what is happening st the park now. C'mon people...think outside of the box. Everything isn't literal...

^Also the fact that the park once considered the Roman theme. Am I correct? I remember overhearing Mike and Steve talking about it back in January. That they once thought of that theme, then instead decided for Fury (which makes much more sense anyway, given the history of the region).

I would personally like to see a Wright Brothers theme somewhere. The Smithsonian: Air and Space museum has a wonderful exhibit on the Wright Brothers. Not quite sure how it could incorporate into a ride.
I'm not taking this teaser literal, rather, just expanding on the idea, so to speak.

It's okay to think outside of the box but I would think that a teaser is meant to trick us. I try to deceiver Coasterbruh's hints more than the parks to be honest. I guess it's okay to think outside the box but is there a reason to think out of this World when I think it is safe to say that we already know that 2016 is not going to be on the scale of Fury 325 and a new entrance plaza!

The Roman teaser was for the new entrance. The Roman ruins in the teaser were the forum, which was the city center and where people gathered. The entrance area is the center of the park (practical center, not geographic) and where people gather. Also, someone said the new entrance was originally supposed to include a matching revamp of the plaza, but budget and time didn't allow for it.

its not? I wouldn't be so sure...they are tearing down something as sizable as the entrance. Money wise, I think we will see lots of "0" thrown around again...

^ I think people are really underestimating the magnitude of this water park expansion. I really believe we are getting the mother of all expansions and we will basically end up with a new water park.
