Kings Island and Holiday World are about the same distance from Lex. I've been on the beast several times and Son of Beast too, before they tore it down. I do like the beast, but it's nothing that crazy to me, aside from the coolness of being out in the woods feeling like you're in the middle of no where while you ride it. And it is LONG! The voyage is better.

We decided to walk on a new path and tee off on this new expansion.
We crossed white waters and made our way around. Things seemed to had dropped right into place.
Some things didn't come back. It wasn't like a boomerang, but more like a yo yo.
We no longer had to bump our way in and out of the crowds and we finally made it.
We walked into this new land; eyes glued to this mass of entangled wood and steel.
But which one? We never paid any attention to the pile of rotting wood in the parking lot.
After the long journey, we realized that we forgot our umbrella.
So we changed our direction and made a second lap around to go get it.
Turns out, we wouldn't be needing it until the next storm season...

No, because if you include 1976 as one year, it makes this year the fortieth.

40th season, an actual forty years would be 1976-2016. By your logic, when infants are born, they are already 1 year old.

Yes, but it's in it's 40th operating season, even if it's not quite 40 years old. It's like with the Carolina Panthers - their first season was in 1995, but last season (2014) was they 20th season.

Or maybe my logic is flawed...

Haha, you know if I didn't know better I would swear that was a Coasterbruh post!
The line about Boomerang and Yoyo is most interesting to me. I believe YoYo will stay and Boomerang Bay will become Soak City, but the way I read it(to me) implies the opposite. As much as Carowinds does need to lose a flat ride, a YoYo that doesn't YoYo just isn't that big of a deal. They could always move it next to Windseeker and name it Breezeseeker.
