I thought that burgundy was a type of red. I don't know if I like the idea of giving Vortex the same colors as Intimidator. What are they going to do next, rename vortex to Dale Jr? PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T!

Would have been nice to at least have yellow supports with red track.
But at least now, vortex won't be faded.

I agree, JamminJ. No matter what color they paint it, it's not going to be a better ride. Let it stay and keep a line at it so those people aren't waiting at my favorite rides.

I rode it once last year so my daughter could ride it for the first time. Now I remember why I only rode it once before that.

with Vortex being painted, it pretty much says that the ride is here to stay and will not be removed, remodeled, or retracked in any way in the near future.

This is pretty frustrating, but I'm glad they're repainting it. It's a lot better than leaving it like it was.

I say paint the dang thing HOT PINK! They could give it and S&M theme since it is one mean ride that will give you a rough ride!

I mean does it really matter what color they are painting it? I think some of you need to turn the computer off for afew minutes and maybe get you some while you are at it.

I am sorry, I do not understand the complete physics of a roller coaster. What I meant to say was I would enjoy it more if it was converted, but it would be very difficult to do, i am sure. Bollager and Mallibard probably would not do such a thing.
