Maybe these pics will help explain what is so great about Thunderhead. You just simply have to take a lap and you will see what the hype is about.

A SOB clone would be awesome! SOB is one of the best woodies I have been on, I think the whole ride is awesome from start to finish (Including the loop) except for that pot-hole in the big helix. I thought the loop was cool with no OTS restraints.

Gwazi is really awesome too, I like the tiger better from what I can remember from 2 years ago. I remember that the lion always had a longer line for no aparent reason (both times I was there).

TG was originally going to have a cobra role? Well....call those B&M people back in ASAP!

The Lion has a longer line just because of the way the queue is laid out. People just don't look and keep walking thus ending up with everyone else.

A Cobra roll would be cool but I like our Top Gun the way it is. The Batwing for me is more intense.

I too would love to see Carowinds get a good twisty woodie but as they explained twisties are just too expensive to maintain and eat up the track so I don't think they will get one.

I would love to see Carowinds get a coaster of any type that breaks some kind of record, other than being the smallest or the slowest. Something along the lines of a 350ft+ Hyper with elements, loops, cobra roll, zero G roll, or a launch invert at least twice the size and length of Volcano at PKD.
Just please do not give us a one trick pony like Twister or Top Thrill Dragster. Don't get me wrong they are cool coasters but too every one I talk to that has been it's cool to ride once or teice but the line ain't worth it.

I would like to see about 3 awesome flats and an indoor attraction such as the surveys asked about.

For 2005 I hope they go all out and give the kiddes and jrs something or things wickedly cool so us older kids can get ours in 2006.

How about swapping 2006 to the kiddies and let the thrill seekers win again in 2005! After all they've given to the kiddies from 2000-2003. I know though that it's very unlikely for PC to get another huge thrill ride. Maybe if they like the attendance figures that Borg is pulling in then they'll follow up with another huge thrill ride.

I agree that the next two years should be devoted to the rides for us people who are big enough and old enough to ride the more intense rides. I hope that in 2005 that PC consentrates on getting some really good flat rides, and not just one either, I would love to have 3 to five new flat rides. And then, maybe, in 2006 they could build us a huge, record breaking, thrilling, awsome coaster!

Wishfull thinking there. I can't see them putting in more than two flats in one year and will be lucky to get one.

And maybe, if were lucky enough, it will have as many breakdowns as Top Thrill Dragster, X, and all three Deja Vus put together!

Me Thinks Boomerang Bay in '05. Or, I mean, "Viacom's CBS/Animal Planet presents Steve Erwins's Paramount's Boomerang Bay," in '05.

I like your plan better though. :)

You know whats funny, the last time that I went to the water park and actually rode a slide was in 1999 or something like that. I used to go 2 to 4 times a week in the summer, well, I lost my ride to the park. So, I've never riden Pipeline Peak, so, I really hope that they don't spend much time redoing the water park.(don't get license for a year and a half). So, I hadly ever get to go to Carowinds, even though I'm dying to go.

I just got back from Vegas on a red-eye and I got to ride all the coasters there.

My favorite was Premeir Rides' "Speed: The Ride" at the NASCAR Cafe by the Sahara. This ride rocks! I got an all day pass for $20 and rode the thing like 15 times! there was no line! The LIM launch is just great and the verticle spike of track in the "middle" of the ride gives you 3 seconds of great airtime!

If carowinds put something in like Speed/Mr. Freeze they would certantly see attendance go over 2 million. I would be awesome to have a custom ride like this that intertwines with another coaster.

The verticle spike of track that slows the train down on speed is 224' That would be the tallest coaster in the southeast!

The ride is only 35 seconds but the whole thing is exciting and there aren't any slow spots.

View pictures of Speed <a href='http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery593.htm' target='_blank'>here</a> .

I also had the "wonderful" opurtunity to ride the Manhattan Express at New York, New York and that F*#%ing Togo is so rough that I bought an all day pass for $25 and only rode it once. I vote it as the worst ride ever. Carowinds does not need a togo looper!

They put in Top Gun and attendance didn't go over 2 million. So, I don't see how a coaster like Speed or Mr. Freeze would bring in those extra people. It'll be interesting to see how Borg affects attendance.

I rode it like 2 years ago and forgot how bad it really was, I heard that it was smoother than it used to be but that rumor turned out to be false. At least speed was really smooth.

The canyon blaster was a pleasant suprise because it was very smooth up untill the helix at the end where it slams your head into the restraint ONCE right before the breaks. Maybe being inside has helped.

I know that TG didn't bring attendance up to 2 million, but this combined with TG and Borg will finally enable us to break this barrier (If we don't do it this year! :P )
