It seems the Fair is listening. Uproar about us losing the flume=we'll probably see a new Powder Keg. I dont think we'll be getting a coaster bit I see KD getting a wing and us getting a dive coaster next. They didn't care for our current dive so they're taking out TR

Things I'd like less than a TTD type ride? Log flume, water park expansion, new changing rooms, new direct entrance to the water park. Those aren't at the bottom of my wishlist. Those aren't even on the list at all.

They're not on your list, but you're an enthusiast. We are a small portion of the people they are trying to make happy. The GP wants those things desperately. If I had a dollar for every comment on Carowinds' FB page last year asking for a separate water park entrance, then I'd probably have enough money for a lifetime supply of Platinum Passes. They beg for it. In the summer, the waterpark gets PACKED. The GP loves it. Families with little kids love it. I think updating it will be a benefit to the park. Hopefully, they'll remember the enthusiasts, too, when they're making these changes, and give us something to look forward to, as well.

Oh, absolutely. I completely realize that. Cedar Fair wants Carowinds to have as broad appeal as they can get.

I look at like this. This year, the people who share my taste in fun amusements, we got Fury. Next year, they'll probably build boring stuff, for folks who like boring stuff. That's why my "realistic" replacement for TR will be boring stuff, because we got Fury this year. That's to make sure Carowinds has appeal for everybody.

I'm not trying to say those are boring people, who like boring stuff. I'm just saying some people like boring stuff. I'm sure there are some really cool people who like boring stuff. I'd hang out and watch sports on TV with them. I just wouldn't want to go on vacation with them, or let them pick the next ride at Carowinds. I mean, they're cool. It's just that they're just not fun. I mean, ummm, uh, well...

(Ok, I'm just being a little silly about this now)

It's just preferences, and people have varied preferences. I fully accept that. Heck, some people like shopping malls and getting clothes for Christmas. :eh:

The park is boring for most people under 48". A log flume or water coaster would be a much welcomed addition in my book. The park needs to have a variety of rides, and right now, Carowinds is too thrill-heavy.

Truth be told, I like the boring stuff. Maybe that makes me boring. If so, I'm cool with that. I love my thrills, but I truly enjoy a spin on the Scrambler, and a flight on the Flyers. I like the waterpark, too. And my kids love all that stuff. I think it's really smart of the park to appeal to various segments of their customer base. And the more other stuff they have to entertain people, the shorter our lines will be for Fury. :)

I like the scrambler and the Flyers too.

And for that matter, I like the Southern Star and the bumper cars and Scream Weaver and Goldrusher and I could spend all day on Drop zone. Wait, I'm having fun again if I do that.

Please.... Please..... Yes

Have you guys ever been on that?

No but if B&M made it would probably be amazing. I want a coaster like that more than anything tbh. It sure beats a waterpark which I have no interest in at all. That's me tho

Oh and btw a Google search tells me it cost 25 million to build KA. I don't expect this to happen anytime soon. I'm no expert but I would say 10 years would be the earliest we would see that(if it's ever even in the cards).I didn't want you guys to think I actually think a ride like this is coming next year. Also when you guys refer to dive coaster are you talking about something like Griffon from Busch?

I agree completely, I don't think this will happen in 2016 but planet snoopy needs an upgrade to appeal to the under 48'' riders.
