Yeah, that's exactly why they rotate employees especially if both parks have identiacal rides that need staffing as the training requirements are not an issue.

As for the coaster installations between the two parks since cedar fair took over:carowinds got carolina cobra(a much better boomerang than average with the new train) intimidator and Fury325,KD only got Dominator and intimidator305 within that same span of timealthough both parks have since lost an older coaster as of this year.

I think people (KD fans) are forgetting that Kings Dominion and Carowinds weren't on a level playing field and still aren't. The reason the park's getting all of these investments is to at least catch up to Kings Dominion before going for the Cedar Point of the south title. Not only is there massive potential in the park's market, it's undersized as it is right now.

I wouldn't say Cobra is a much better boomerang, but a not-as-painful one. Then again, Cobra is the only sit-down boomerang I've been on so I don't exactly have a ton of room to talk. Invertigo was terrible though...

The new trains improve the experience of a boomerang in terms of headbanging...but that's about it. I felt a bit claustrophobic when the restraint tightened going through the cobra roll. I've only been on 2 (@ Wild Adventures and Carowinds) and CC was definitely a more "pleasurable" ride than the other...didn't rank very high, but "better".

I've been on 9 of them (how sad). I found 8 of them including Cobra to be equally horrible, with the one at Canada's Wonderland standing above the rest as somehow strangely fun with its Arrow train.

How? Not saying you're wrong but it was VERY bad when I rode it. For anyone who hasn't rode it and is a credit whore like me, keep your head back or it will be snapped by the worse than I-305 forces.

^^Same for me. I've been on two of the regular inverted boomerangs and three of the giant inverted boomerangs and I found all of them to be at least a tiny bit enjoyable compared to the pure misery of the regular boomerangs.

Yeah, I find Carolina Cobra slightly better than the other standard boomerangs. However I found Invertigo at KI quite a bit better than standard boomerangs. If we had Invertigo at Carowinds, I would ride it more than once every couple of years, and probably a couple of times a year. It is still not a 'go to' coaster.

Agree if we had the inverted version I would certainly ride way more than I do cobra. I dnt know what it is maybe they put new wheels on invertigo it was just more comfortable that the sit down versions.

I cannot disagree with this more.

I see both sides to this. Yes the ride itself is still no better than your average boomerang, but the restraints allow for a more comfortable ride.
