My wish list/predictions as to where the flat rides will go:

County Fair

- Waveswinger (In Yo-Yo's spot)
- Breakdance (In Thunder Road's station's spot)

Carolina RFD

- Troika (In Mini Golf's spot)

Carolina Boardwalk

- Music Express (In front of Ricochet)

Thrill Zone

- Top Scan (Wherever)

I don't think the mini golf is going anywhere. I can see the troika going where the witch doctor once stood. The music express in county fair, top scan in thrill zone, breakdance will probably end up in planet snoopy like CaGA and wave swinger replacing yo yo.

It appears Carowinds is getting the same model Break Dance as CGA. Does it really matter where in the park the rides go?

I think everyone knows where Wave Swingers location is . Now onto the remaining 4. Thunder Roads station space is bigger then what it looks. Now I can see Top Scan, Music Express, and Breakdance occupying that spot. The Troika can be placed in the mini golf location by itself. This is more exciting then a new coaster. The other parks can't get to mad at our park for recieving 5 flats. We just lost a classic coaster. The other parks are upset the flats weren't evenly distributed. I'm sure they will find more to distribute.

Correct me if wrong, that's the concrete/sit down area in between the restrooms and dockside fries right??

In my opinion yes. Every ride especially a carnival ride that's known to be wild should not be in a kids area. CGA's is a joke because it's been slowed way down which defeats the purpose of the ride, it's a high thrill ride not a kiddie. Just like the gliders just because it's a "family" ride doesn't mean it should've been dropped into planet snoopy . It's the better of the gliders in the chain in my opinion but doesn't top Knobles. Gauntlet is another when rebranded to planet snoopy theming it was tamed way down, again a carny ride that's meant to toss you off into space. Hopefully it comes back and goes to thrill zone or county fair. If they want kiddie rides then get kiddie rides for plant snoopy don't take high thrill rides or family rides and place them in an area then tame them down to meet the height barriers for that area. I feel family rides should scattered throughout the park along with the high thrill rides. Most people don't know the gliders are even at the park because it's in an area they have no need of going into that area because of the notion of being all "kiddie" rides and 11-13yr olds surely don't want to be in that area. I think peanut pirates need to be rebranded and moved elsewhere in the park. That my 0.02¢

The flyers have not been "kiddied" neither has the pirates ride so why the fear that any other ride that will go in the area will be so as well? Gauntlet . . . well, we dont know the story with that but im sure its a reason it hasn't returned to the park.

I personally don't see a problem with adding the breakdance to planet snoopy. It is a family flat and planet snoopy is a family area, regardless if we want to say its a "Kiddy area". Hell, you can take any current flat the park has (well not so much the 360 boat or scream weaver) and place it in planet snoopy and it wont seem out of place.

I think what we have to realize is that Carowinds planet snoopy isn't really a "kiddy" area like, say, kings dominion or some of the other parks. It has scoo . . . woodstock express, which is a family coaster, and reptar (dont know the new name). It also had the flume and that ride never screamed kiddy land.

I say place the break dance over there and watch it be a hit!

I personally enjoy going into that area of the park from time to time. Lots of shade, and I enjoy riding the Flyers.

Wait, yeah they have. Maybe not to us, but to the GP they pretty much are. Whenever I go with a new group of people and I suggest the flyers, they don't even know what I'm talking about and then they laugh when it's in Planet Snoopy. Sure, after the ride, people like it and admit it's not just for kids, but the point is that their perception was originally that anything in Planet Snoopy was automatically a kiddie ride.

Now I personally have no problem with a new flat going in Planet Snoopy, because I will ride it regardless. My point is just that if it does go there, a lot of teens/adults who aren't Carowinds enthusiasts won't even realize it's there because they ignore the area completely. It's probably fine for the park since something like breakdance is more family-oriented than thrill-seeker oriented , but it's just a shame for those people who miss out on it.
