I think that would be a better assessment for say 2017. More than likely 2016 plans are already set as much planning has to go into them.

The last I "heard" The decision for 2016 has not been finalized...so anything can change... :shh:

I'm hoping the fury of bad press that Carowinds is getting doesn't reduce any 2016 investments on the planning board.

I don't think you can hardly call this bad press...No one is gonna remember these “stops” in a few months and the news will move on to something more time consuming. All they are really saying is “oh look, the coaster is stuck” without any hard facts that something is legit wrong. Has the stops even made national news? It seems it’s only the local news stations sensationalizing the situation. Carowinds hasn’t even bothered to make an official statement right?

It's being reported in Atlanta...I know it's not that far, but it's not all that local either. It's under their National News section that pretty much is the same story fed by the AP to stations around the country. My mother even shared this on my Facebook timeline and said something along the lines of "I think you need to rethink this". She knows I'm going in June...lol

Yep.
And, indeed, any park with modern coasters of any intensity will go through this adjustment period. But like you said, in a few months no one will care.......

There are some biggie "Crabbie Cabbie" type rides out there but they don't have a loop (thankfully).

Two of the three that are in operation are right here in the Southeast. One at Fun Junction and the other at Wild Adventures. Both have a couple of moments of extreme airtime and are fairly fun little coasters in my opinion.

I got bruises from both of them when I rode them, lol. The first drop on the CC/WA one had be looking for something to hold on to.

My seven year old is already riding Cobra and Cyclone, she loves both of them but also loves the little swings in Nick Central. I honestly would like to see the world's first inverting kiddy coaster, maybe not a loop but a barrel roll.

Isn't there a park that already has a launched kiddy coaster?
