Two tracking projects shown on the SC side of things.

Interesting to me that they are listed as Camp Snoopy.

Linkerdog you are the man . . . or woman! THe camp snoopy areas i've been in seems to be a better theme than the planet snoopy ares to me as it's more cohesive as far as theming is concern. So we are looking at New restrooms? The bath house thing throws me off as they are usually associated with water, like a water play area or pool. Hummm . . .

Wait! First Snoop Town and now Campaign Snoopy!?!?!

I'm predicting a PS Expansion, Change the name to Camp Snoopy, Announcement of a Hotel, Vortex conversion, Maybe a new thing in Carolina Harbor, And over all renovations to the park in needed areas. I think if we're holding out for a new coaster it's in 2019 or 2020.

I get that. I am assuming that CP will get something big and will use a lot of that investment. Just saying they would want all attention to CP. they normally don't build big coasters at more then 1 park at a time generally. Its happed I know but this is different. 150 year anniversary.

Exactly, two different markets/regions.
Maverick44 wrote:Just throwing this out there....don't count on Carowinds getting a coaster in 2020 with a huge anniversary at Cedar Point.
No park receives coasters every year like that. Also that doesn't mean CP is getting a coaster either. It's not all about coasters for anniversaries.

When was the last time a park made a big deal over an anniversary other than Disney?!?!

What they do at CP has no impact on Carowinds. Capital investments are doled out based on park needs and performance. And you do realize the company is getting four new coasters next year, right?

I might be banned from TPR, but that doesn't mean I won't use Coasterbill's gem of a comment in this situation:

Oh, well sure, parks probably aren't likely to plan capital investments based on anniversaries, but you can bet they'll acknowledge them and use them for marketing.
