Is there any actual lead as to if the pool will have concrete or sand?

i think the sand will only be by the vollyball area. I may be wrong but I think adding sand around a pool would be a filtration nightmare.

so mike mentioned, cant remember where, but said they would be making improvements to the county fair area. nothing on this set of blue prints reflect that comment. Did he misspeak? Or does he have something up his sleeve? Where is barbie? He also said the bumper cars etc were being relocated.

^^ Those plans were submitted separately. I do hope they give County Fair the Gemini Midway treatment. I've said it many times before, that area of the park feels neglected and outdated. It's time to bring it up to speed with the rest of the park.

General manager Mike Fehnel said Thunder Road is being torn down to make room for improvements in the County Fair section of the park. The new attraction is expected to be announced next month. The newspaper reported it probably will not be a roller coaster, but will be something wet.

he referenced it when asked why thunder road was being removed

my guess, something for county fair is going where TR station was

^ well that part of county fair would be all SC, I may be looking in the wrong places but I see no other building permits. So if something was planned for that area and was going to be announced in 14 days, I would think those permits would already be in place.

I'm still waiting for the blueprints for the log flume you have been hinting at for the past year.

Although, they have no where to put one now, they now have a chunk of land on the other side of the parking lot by county fair that is pretty much unreachable. TR turn around area is not enough space for a log flume nor is the area where TR station stood. As I see it, any further expansions will have to take place within the current perimeter of the park which means the removal of something else. For those wanting a launch or wing coaster in the future, something else will have to go.

a bigger water park will require a bigger place to store rafts etc.
