The train sits on the lift after it is brought to a controlled stop by the ride control system, which isn't really stuck in any way, shape, or form. When the ride ops / maintenance fix the problem, or determine there isn't one, and the ride control system is reset and agrees all is well, the train starts moving again. They might run a few test runs before loading people, they might just start the ride up as normal.

Fury 325 & Leviathan - To me, they are similar, yet very different. Thanks for sharing the side-by-side video comparison, Amos. I know this is out there, but Leviathan looked like a big Intimidator to me. Having not ridden Leviathan, I can't say what it feels like.

I checked the webcams several times today and Camera 1 (Fury 325 Station) isn't coming up but Camera 2 (North Entrance) is streaming just fine. Has anyone else noticed this? Makes me wonder if Camera 1 is being repositioned or taken down. I didn't use the webcam's much during construction because I could come here for updates and play by play but recently I've been using the webcams to judge how crowded the park is and the line for Fury 325 to plan my visits.

Carowinds also received a high ranking from Travel Channel as a top amusement park, primarily due to Fury 325. I think they were #2 after Disney World, but not sure exactly. Heard it on the news yesterday.

Awesome! Thanks so much. I know someone (not sure if it was you) did a side by side with the fury testing video, but this one is so much better. Actually, they both look like great rides, but you can tell fury is faster with many more twists. It's funny how the drop isn't as fast on Leviathan. You would think Leviathan would finish dropping before Fury since Fury is taller.
