$2 is a hell of a lot cheaper than the deductible on my cell phone insurance. I've personally known 3 people who've lost their phone on Fury. And one of those friends has lost a phone 2 different times. (He has REALLY bad luck with phones and coasters...) I'd rather spend $2, have my valuables safe, and have a fast moving line than have to deal with the alternatives.

I think on Fury they should still have spots for souvenir bottles though. SFNE does on the rides that require lockers, and I thought that was interesting. I always bring no bags to a park and try to advise my friends not to, but I can understand wanting a bottle (even though I don't personally, free water for me!). It kind of sucks when the bottle is the only loose item you have, and you've already paid $15 for it. It seems like it would take a lot less time to put your bottle on a rack than it would to put your stuff in a bin, plus it would encourage more people to buy them.

I've ridden Fury 325 12 times with my cell phone in the front left pocket of my pants without it even coming close to coming out. Where are these people that are losing their phones putting them? Just curious.

So how does one make it to the front seat? Do you have to be rich and famous? Do you have to have the cure for cancer? What is it? I don't understand why that row is so forbidden... I never once got to sit there last time I went because the ride ops were incredibly rude and wouldn't let me....

There;s a whole slew of Cell Phone recorded Fury POV's. Also, this fad of taking selfies on a coaster.
That's why phones are flying off the ride. Stupid people who can't read park policies or decide to not adhere by them. I know I shouldn't call them stupid, but in all honesty, it's true. And if you tell it to their face why they can't have it on the ride, they get mad at YOU, or the ride ops. I have nothing else to say on the matter because it's not going to change anything. 8)

I still say that assigning seats slows the line down. Especially when the greeter can't make up his mind.

I am guilty of taking pictures while riding....in the past. While it is dangerous, I believe the policy to be unenforceable. As Josh just said, there is cell phone POVs of Fury. Not sure how because they are strict up there. My wife can't see crap without her glasses and forgot to put them away before getting in the seat. The ops were contend to stand there until I put them in a zipper pocket.

I wear my glasses on Fury... and I wear them on every other ride too, including other gigas. The only rides I can remember having to take them off are Kingda Ka and TTD.

I guess I was just lucky that my VERY FIRST ride on Fury was the left seat in the front row. (Best ride I've ridden on Fury.)

Since we are on the topic of lockers, I see how people are bypassing the lockers completely. I went to the men's restroom across from Fury yesterday and there are some small shrubs to the side and people had thrown their bags there. Plus, I have seen people leave their bags in the center structure close to the Fury 325 sign. I hope they don't have anything too valuable in those bags, since that is taking a big chance.
