The buckle is attached to the OTSR and there is a retractable seatbelt in the seat now.

I didn't have any issues, but people that are kinda heavy might have issues with it becuase the seatbelt is not really that long. It's not Intamin short or anything, but it's not really long either.

Well all I have to say is...no one wakes up 300lbs from 170lbs! The last thing on their mind should be roller coasters...and food!

Next thing you know Carowinds will add seatbelts and OTSRs to the Carousel.

Add seatbelts to the benches around the park.

It really didn't seem that busy, but opening day usually isn't that busy anyway.

I noticed on another site that had opening day pictures that fences were put up a rather far distance away from the South Gate. See picture below:

One of my favorite parts of Top Gun is the fact that it dives under the walkway and those non-riders are able to stand right on top of the ride. Will this fence be moved back in the near future to allow guests to view Top Gun from that point?

Doubt it. That is where they have always put the temporary fence when the South Gate is closed.

If Cedar Fair builds on original plans to expand the park into the lot beside TR, than the walkway will be open as you will use it to enter the new section of the park. I fell that if CF does not expand to that side of the park, and small flat ride may be in the center of that photo. I hope that plans will be to expand into the parking lot and make Carowinds that much better. We'll see though? :rolleyes:

South gate will no longer open on a regular basis. Not sure of the trigger but only if the park has a certain magic number predicted attendance, will the sg open.

5 things i think the park really needs. Launch Coaster, Frissbee, Top Spin, Wave Swinger, Proslide Tornado. Those are the five major things they need right now i think.
