not gonna work, my dad has been unfairly fired/laid off a few times in the past few years, and there really is nothing you can do about it. Actually, the most dissappointing was after the his last job (the company went under), he got a job in about a week somewhere else, paying better, but they kept delaying starting him. Then they told him he was starting Monday (it was friday). So now he's been told he's hired and now officially starting. Sat or Sun (can't remember which), they call him up and tell him they've hired someone else, and there goes that opportunity. So they tell him he has the job, tell him when he's starting, and just like that hire someone else, and he's out of a job again with no pay and an additional weeks unemplyment delay waiting to start his new job (which he never got). And of course, nothing he could do about it afterwards except look for a new job. That's just what ya gotta do. When it comes to Employee vs. Employer, generally, Emplyer wins
