Well now that we have got the New Coaster what are we getting In a few years here is some of what i got

2005: Boomerang Bay
2006: A Few flats (Hopefully)
2007: Invertigo!!
2008: Rumored Hyper/Giga

I can see somewhere that we will get Invertigo cause all the others have it so we should get it soon

And The Boomerang Bay i dont really care if that happens Water Works is Fine as it is just few more slides and etc

PKD does not have an Invertigo.

Nor does Canada's Wonderland. So, only 2 of the 5 Paramount Parks have Invertigo's. I don't forsee them purchasing another either, since the Invertigo is slightly outdated now.

I definitely see Boomerang Bay for next year or the year after, IF it works out at the other parks. I doubt an Invertigo, unless we get a used one  . also, I'll believe the hyper/giga rumor when I see solid proof (i.e. track or an official announcement)

What about Tomb Raider?

Boomerang Bay seems pretty certain.

I think that carowinds needs a boomerang of some sort, weither it be an Invertigo or not. Also, someting with a launch start would be cool.

How about this:

2005 - Boomerang Bay, Alot more Theming around the park, A new and different Resturaunt.
2006 - 3 new Flat rides of any kind with great themes
2007 - Totally redo the Kids area and update it. New Log Flume.
2008 - Extreme Coaster of anykind (launch prefered), Great Dark attraction for Teens/Adults
2009 - Add to water park, Tear down and build a greater Mine Train with theme
2010 - Giga Coaster (or what's hot at that time), A totally immersive 4D show

Included would be every year keep updateing areas with paint and themes

i heard if Paramount Carowinds gets a Hyper or Giga it wont be able to go above i think 310 feet or something like that because of the Airplanes flying around

The Flagpole on the Skytower reaches up 340ft.

Either way, for any tall ride I would suspect Carowinds has to get clearance from the area airports, including impact analysis, and such.

I could see a hyper, but I doubt a giga.

By 2010, the Intamin Gigas are going to be obsolete like the Arrow hypers are now so I doubt we'll be getting one past about 2006.

I don't see the big deal about Boomerangs! What do people find so fascinating about them? Just a lot of headknocking if you ask me. I've never ridden one yet that I've liked. I'd rather ride a Deja Vu or an Invertigo before I would a boomerang. But, I don't see the park getting one anytime soon.

As for the theory that Intamin gigas will be out of date by 2010? I don't think so. There will always be a park that might want a hyper because they can't afford a giga. There might be height restrictions for the park also. I think the hyper style coaster will be around for a while. Remember size isn't everything.

I don't think that Arrow Hypers are very out of date. Magnum XL200, opened in 1989, still ranks in most coaster polls as one of the top ten steel roller coasters in the country, and is in some cases one of the top ten rides in the world.

I really don't think there is any way a hyper can be obsolete. They only consist of hills and turns(Except for the original Steel Phantom), so, other than height, they really can't be improved all that much.

The only thing I would disagree with is the comment concerning Arrow's Hypers. I know Magnum is still popular, but when was the last Arrow Hyper built? It seems to me that Intamin and B&M have the market cornered there with a Morgan thrown in every once in a while.

Let me rephrase that, the coasters may not be obselete, but nobody will want to build them anymore because there will be better technology avaliable at that time.

It would be nice to get a hyper or giga some time soon.

I very doubt a invertigo.
