I wonder if top gun is still going to be the parks main coaster. It isn't the biggest anymore.

Does anyone think that The Borg will be the mascot.

Well obviously The BORG is going to be what the park uses promotionally, and it's going to be the headliner for the park now, but from a strictly coaster enthusiasts perspective, I think Top Gun will still be the main thing that motivates people to visit Carowinds.

I think TG will still be the signature ride of the park. Even though the average member of the GP doesn't know the story behind TCKFAS, the coaster enthusiast does. When one talks about Carowinds, it usually, "oh yeah...y'all got TG." Now, in addition to that, they're going to be saying "you got that Vekoma flyer from PGA too!" (or some obvious choice words depending on their feelings towards Vekomas and their flyers.) I think you'll still see the long lines for TG no matter what comes into the park. At least until something major and bigger (much bigger) comes to the park.
