Whatelse can we expect this year for Carowinds we get Borg Repainting Drop Zone and maybe Vortex what else is there we could get i would hope a retheming in maybe the RFD but i dont know

Borg Assimilator, Drop Zone repainted, Vortex will get a new paintjob, Nickelodeon Celebration Parade, Making of the Movie Magic show, and other things that will 'spruce' the park up next season... maybe new landscaping and other minor paintjobs?

Edit - I think we will have new characters as well - from the Fairly Odd Parents Nick Show.

All of the above, and then another cool addition to the Paramounts FX Theatore. They may keep SpongBob In 3D another year though because of its high attendence. But Secrets of the lost temple may be changed.

The Secrets of the Lost Temple was horrible, the picture wasn't clear enough and the picture was too dark. I thought that it was a waste of time, even though I didn't have to wait in line.

It was shut down when I went in June and then again when I went in July. And if you say its that bad then I guess I'm glad I didn't get to ride it. The films downtime and its lack of popularity will probably urge Paramount to put a new film in. With the new coaster up...a borg simulator perhaps. Talk about creepy. :ph34r:

The FX theater should be torn down and a B&M floorless built in the parking lot next to Thunder Road. with the Entrance and quene where the theater is now. The theater is begining to show some wear and tear from it's years of operation with rough seat movements. I feel as though it is beginning to become outdated.

Nah, they should tear it down and put a better FX Theatore in its place, like a 4D or 360 degree theatore. I know plenty of people who love the simulator and would hate to see it leave.

There's plenty of other options to adding a floorless besides sticking it in the parking lot. Thank God Paramount doesn't do that like SixFlags does.

I think the 4D theatre is a great idea. Tomb Raider could work nicely, or Mission: Impossible.


You need to keep some variety in the park for those who don't or can't do coasters and those who do to take a break.
