^You would be surprised Jarvis. People today are much more perceptive to details, especially with the popularity of coasters being at an all time high. If the TV ad were just showing a drop of a coaster, that would be one thing but they are showing a particular element (full speed, swooping turnaround) that does not exist on any wooden coaster at Carowinds. Most viewers may not know
where that coaster is but they probably know it is
not a Carowinds coaster. And most viewers probably don't care, which is why they continue to falsely advertise.
I'm guessing they do not show this same commercial in Columbia.
PS: I do think it's outright false advertising to show an ad with the Whirling Dervish swings. With the lawsuit happy society we live in, it wouldn't surprise me if someone eventually sues claiming deceptive advertising. It wouldn't surprise me one bit.
