Here's my list.

1st-Fix the hurler its WAY to rough any where middle to the very back.
2nd-We need some better flat rides we have close to nothen
3nd-Any one go for some better theming.

Post what you think needs to be worked on.

Hurler gets retracked twice a season for some place, the only possible thing that may fix Hurler is prefab track and new trains. In terms of flat rides, Flyers makes up for the lack of flats like MaXair and Top Spin. In terms of theming, kiss it goodbye, Cedar Fair runs amusement parks not theme parks.

My list:
1)New water ride
2)New ride in Thrill Zone
3)New waterslides

1) Hurler is not rough.
2) Cedar Fair nor Carowinds are not "theme" parks or theme park operators, I would rather have more money just be put into a ride than have a half-ass theme that makes no sense.
3) They have lots more flats compared to a few years ago, its hardly 'nothen'

Kaleidoscope, Rocket Power, Screamweaver, Dodgems, Flying Dutchman, Phantom Flyers, Southern Star, Yo-Yo..

Anyway, I'm debating on weather or not closing this thread. I was at the park yesterday and had a pretty great experience. Of course I would like more rides but I know Cedar Fair will put them in in due time.

My only real suggestion for 'inprovement' is for Carowinds to keep up the general infrastructure as well as paint on some of the rides. Keep the park looking nice and the staff friendly and it will always be a pleasurable experience even if they never add another ride.

prefab track and new trains.

Prefab track isn't gonna happen since they've already built the ride, and it isn't an Intamin. No need for new Trains, PTCs are fine for that kind of ride. Besides, the last 5 times I've rode Hurler, it wasn't rough, so...

I can't wait till Carowinds actually gets more flats, and I know they will. Other than that, the only thing I see needing some help here is grammar. :)

??? The Cyclone isn't rough at all. Vortex is.

As far as improvements, i'd like to see a revamp of Wings and turn The Thrill Zone Diner into an eat-in restaurant as well, other than that since we may be getting a Hyper I also wouldn't mind a better woodie taking hurlers spot. The room is definitely there.

think of a coaster like voyage from holiday world in hurlers spot. I just think we need to do something about it. It never has a line, its hurt me every ride in the past 5 or 6 years, and if we could retrack it, I'd say the ride would be much better, but I think we could replace it with a new wooden coaster in around 10 years. And the people who say it isn't rough, please tell me where I'm supposed to ride it so its better. Thanks!

Same thing I thought when I read that.

I will admit that I think Cyclone is pretty bad. I rode it a few times and you know, it really beat the heck out of me.. and I'm a Huge Arrow Fan.

I really think it could use some new trains, that should solve most of it's problems. The track is smooth, but those trains were not tracking well. I'd hate to see it be removed entirely. So, after that, they could give it a nice new paint job.. Vola!

Carowinds is a pretty well-rounded park, so once the new coaster is built, the next direction they go should be to add a couple more flat rides (Delirium, Top Spin, Giant Wheel), another restaurant and keep upgrading the shows and waterpark

The biggest problem with Cyclone is it bangs your head going around the turn after the loops. I'm used to it and know when to keep away from the restraint. Other than that, it isn't that bad. Hurler, I think will beat the heck out of ya.

They could retrack the hurler but by the time thats done the supports will be rotting on top of that all the money for that i dont think some new trains MAY do the trick
