Does anyone up here ever play the minature golf when you go to the park?
I love playing Golf, but I rather see something free in that spot that I can ride. From the skytower, it's a nice size area that could be a potential spot for a flat ride. What do you all think?

I would have to agree with you. I can't stand to see attractions like this at any amusement park. I for one don't know anyone who would go to Carowinds to play mini golf, or even go for other reasons and then play the mini golf at an extra fee.

As far as the area goes, I could/would like to see it used for something else other than what it's used for now. A flat would look nice there.

hmmm I have never played that golf course, I dont even remember the last time I saw anyone playing it or it being open for that matter. Is it open now? They should have a mini golf tournament at coaster stock

I wouldn't play that course for free. The rugs are wrinkled, water puddles up, etc. Putt Putt is what you play at the beach, not an upcharge at Carowinds.

Is anyone (Dani) at Carowinds reading this?

I sure hope so. That's quite possibly the crappiest mini-golf course I have EVER been to.
Heyyy....maybe they could fit a Log Flume into that area!!

It's right next to the waterpark....so maybe they could build a slide. I'd love to see a straight drop slide, like daredevil drop at Emerald Point, in that spot. Be a great like...attention getter for the waterpark as you first come in.

They actually had two, Racing Rivers I believe was the name. It was installed in 1989 and replaced by Wipeout!(BB name escapes me) in 1997. I rode Daredevil Drop at WnWEP one time and will never ride it again. I don't like having the skin ripped on my back. Pretty much, I dont ride any body slide. I am wimp I guess.

I saw 5 or 6 people playing the mini golf course today. That's the first time I've actually seen people on the course in years.

The last time I played at the mini golf was about 4 years ago. Every time I walk by it I never see more than 2 people if any playing. In my opinion its kind of a shame to let that space go unused for development. The greens are poor quality and the price is too much.

For years I have wondered why Carowinds has kept the mini golf around. It doesn't make sense to me. :?
