This is all the more reason for me to make an October weekend visit home from college, lol. I'm going to College in Northern Michigan, which makes it hard to be able to go to Scarowinds as often as I did last year (9 times). Anyway, I wonder what Fangs is gonna be all about.

Ha I was just at scarowinds.com and I didnt realize someone started a thread for it already, figures. I was under 2010 and I thought I was under all things carowinds. Anyway, I cant wait to see the descriptions for the mazes.... hate that they have taken the alien maze out (of course it was under the log flume so obviously it had to go). Looks like they are going to have pretty much the same as last year, cant wait to go and see how good it is this year, I am thinking they will theme it even better than last year since it doesnt seem like they have added any additional mazes. Cant wait for scarowinds! I cant believe its been 10 years!

Looks cool. I have missed some the houses in the last few years, so a few are new to me. I have done Alien Annihilation, Final Summons, and the Dream Factory. I still have to do Dead Inn, Slaughter House, and the rest.

I have thought about going to a "job scare" and working there this year. However I dont know yet.

The most interesting thing to me is The Playground, wow that's actually original sounding to me.

Ok, it was brought to my attention that "carowinds is gonna charge for 3d glasses for the 3d house". Of course I blew that off as hogwash but then I decided to go to the website my self and had a WTF moment when I read this...

Being afraid of clowns takes on a whole new meaning as our maniacal mirth-makers get up close and personal to terrorize you in shocking 3-D!

* 3D glasses available for purchase

Now does this mean they will have some paper versions and you can "upgrade" to more ridged versions. I know Halloween Horror Nights have 3d houses every once and while but I have never paid to get the complete 3d experience!

Valleyfair did that at their Halloween event I went to. It caught me off guard and kind of rubbed me the wrong way a bit. If you wanted to get the 3-D experience, you had to pay I believe it was $1. The glasses were the cardboard kind, and you kept them after.

That is being being very Six Flages if you ask me to charge a guest that has paid to go to a park Halloween Event extra for 3-D glasses to go through a 3-D maze. I mean what is the point of going through one without the glasses? About as pointless as Tits on a bull. I guess I will skip the Scarowinds next weekend and head up to Phantom Fright Nights at Kennywood instead. They give you glasses to go through a 3-D maze there.

You never know they could be selling off the Spongebob glasses because of the motion theater change which would mean really nice hard plastic ones.
