There was a ride it was called raging bull or something like that. It was near thunder road. All i remember is it was really ruff and it went around and around a bunch of times. I guess you could say it was a coaster cause it had a track like one but it really wasnt a coaster. Do any of you know what ride i am talking about and/or know what happend to it?

I just found out it was called Wild Bull . I know it was taken out when top gun was built but it really was not in the way. Not that I can remember anyway.

Wild Bull was where Top Gun's helix currently is. I wish they would have just moved it instead of removing it completely, but oh well...

I don't think anyone's been able to answer the question "Where did the Wild Bull go?" It sat dismantled over by TR for a while. Probably got sold to another park instead of scrapped. It seemed to be in pretty good condition.

Little noise? That thing was LOUD! Sounded like a rocket sometimes. Loved the horn though :)

That was a classic...I don't know of any other parks in the U.S. that still have one. It never had a line, but then again, that was back when I used to go to Carowinds during the week and be able to stay on Thunder Road without getting off. I totally forgot about the howling noise it made until someone said something...and it whipped you around pretty good - I loved it! First, Meteorite was moved and renamed Scream Weaver, then Wild Bull was taken out for Top Gun, and after that the Swings went bye bye for "Flight School", which tanked, and now that little spot sits dormant. People keep spreading rumors about County Fair being re-themed, but in actuality it slowly is.

That link someone had, is that the Wild Bull? It kind of reminds me of a carnival ride called the Himalaya. I know Wild Adventures and Cedar Point both have one of those.

You can get the same, if not better ride on any Alpine Bobs or Himilaya/Music Express at your local carnival.

Anyway, Wild Bull was fun, unique, and could give a pretty good beating to first time riders. I wish like said above, they would have moved it to a different location wrather than removing it all together.

I've heard that it is still in storage at the park. Maybe one of the employees on this site could comment...

If so they need to slap it into the thrill zone just to add a little flavor. At least until they can get something more exciting like a new flat.
