went to carowinds today and when i got on hurler i was suprised to see they added new seat coushins to the train.
it was like riding in a cadillac compared to last year.

Nice!! I wonder what the difference is in riding a cadillac and riding a beat up station-wagon down the rickety road of vibration (and/or death) is like. Maybe I'm being overdramatic

Agreed, a much improved ride - the best I've had on Hurler - especially for the older thrill seeker like myself. However, true to form, the Hurler staff, at least when I rode on Saturday afternoon, was ridiculously slow and inefficient, but at least they were running both trains!

I was wondering if it was just me thinking if it was a much smoother ride. Now we just have to see how much smoother Thunder Road is when it opens up for the 2011 season.

I wonder why they removed the photo booth and cut the camera cables? I guess they will be removing the camera sometime this year or next? I guess no one buys on-ride photo's of the hurler anymore...

also when a coaster gets topper track is the height changed or how steep the drop is? by change I mean how Texas Giant changed

I don't care what anyone say's. Topper Track would work wonders for Hurler. I miss the crazy airtime on that first bunny hill. Thanks to the trims at the bottom of the firts drop. Has anyone been on hurler yet this season? How is it?
