Well, I was at the park last sunday and something interesting caught my eye, an advertisement saying that the Xtreme skyflyer was only $5 on sundays.....How long has this been here?

Even if it were free, I'm not sure I would ever do that ride. Not that it's a bad ride, but rather it's a fear thing...

I havent seen it, but I will definately take advantage of it. Xtreme skyflyer is frickin awesome! I have done it only 2 times, both at scarowinds, and it was amazing. I want to do it again and now I may be able to, since I am usually there on sunday anyway....

I read here about the possible $5 Sunday price so I went to check it out yesterday. In front of the counter the $15 per person sign was on display with no indication of any specials or promotions. So it seems yesterday (Sunday) was $15. Maybe the $5 deal has ended or is only on select Sundays? Maybe an early-season special?

You sure? I swear I saw a sign that said it was $5 Sunday. It was located between Scream Weaver and the gift shop.

I must have missed that sign. The sign I saw was basically where you would line up for it, and it looked like a portable sign so I figured they would have put it away or changed it for the $5 price. Guess I'll pay more attention near the Scream Weaver and gift shop next time, maybe I'll even ask the workers. Of course, I'm not sure I was up to the challenge anyway! At $15/person I find it easy to talk myself out of trying it. At $5/person I'll have myself a good internal argument over it!

Has anyone here ridden it on the $5 Sunday promotion?

Usually I'm very observant, but Sunday my wife was the observant one, as she found a wallet (appeared stolen and picked-through) under the pompass grass in one of those walkway "islands" near Ricochet.

My guess is that you have to ask about the special $5 pricing in order to get it, or else you just get priced for the full $15. I would have done the special deal if I had anyone to ride with me.
